A Warm Day In Ronda
THE Sierra de Las Nieves Narcissi bugei are in full bloom now, they were in tight buds on the 29th of January when I visited them first. Please remember, if you find them anywhere on your walks and outings, these are strictly protected plants both in and outside of the Natural Parks. Let´s protect them.
Today was very warm and the car thermometer registered 19º Celsius at 2pm, which dropped to 15º at 5pm. Very little wind and new butterflies were flying: fresh-looking dazzling Cleopatra males of which I saw several from the car driving to do some shopping. They were searching for the dandelions to feed but they were not in the mood for a photo with my compact camera. Then when I decided to go for a short stroll I found a lovely Bath White resting on a rock which let me take a quick snap from (too) far away.
